4 curated | 4 evaluatedNo-code agent builders saw significant platform expansions and workflow improvements, from enabling live web search for Claude agents, to accelerating prompt delivery, while real-world users grappled with when running production agent workloads and shared for creative workflows.
TinyFish is now officially live on the Claude community marketplace. Claude Code and Claude Cowork can now call TinyFish directly for live web search, data extraction, and browser automation. That means agents no longer have to rely on stale or generic answers when they need current information. Install it from your terminal: 1. claude update 2. claude 3. /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community 4. /plugin install tinyfish@claude-community After installation, you can use it from the terminal or find it under + Plugins in the Claude app. Worth testing if you’re building agent workflows that need real web access, structured extraction, or browser actions. https://t.co/rkbaXBDrTq
1/ My AI agent used up my whole weekly Codex limit in one morning. I asked a different AI to find out why. It SSH'd into my server, read the logs, and found the answer. It runs on a $20/month plan. Here's what it found 🧵 2/ The setup: I run @NousResearch's Hermes agent on a VPS. Five Telegram bots. They do real work for my agency — find leads, audit websites, draft and send emails. The model behind them is OpenAI Codex, on a ChatGPT Plus login. 3/ One morning the bots stopped. Error 429: usage limit reached. Weekly limit. All I had done was one 2-hour work session — about 25 short messages. That should not use a week of quota. So something else had to be spending it. 4/ I opened Claude Code and typed: "ssh into hermes and find out why I ran out of codex usage." Fable connected to the server, found the Docker container, and started reading logs across all five bots. 5/ First it checked my scheduled jobs. One runs nightly to scan for new leads. The logs showed it made 3 API calls that night, about 65K tokens. Not the problem. Then it checked for stuck loops. None. Every process had finished normally. 6/ Then it found the real number. Late in my session, my one-word message "Send" cost 165,000 input tokens. Why? Chat models have no memory — every message re-sends the whole conversation. My session had grown to 261 messages. So each new message carried all 260 before it. 7/ Hermes has a fix for this: compression. When the chat gets too big, it summarizes the old parts. It should kick in at 50% of the context window. But Fable read the agent's source code and found an override for Codex that raised it to 85% of 272K — about 231K tokens. My session peaked at 165K. So compression never ran. Not once. 8/ Then the strange part. The logs had messages I never typed: "Review the conversation above and update the skill library." After tool-heavy turns, Hermes starts a hidden second chat where it studies the transcript to improve its skills. Useful idea. But it re-sends the whole transcript, 5-6 calls each time, and it fired every 2-3 of my messages. 9/ Total damage: about 35 million input tokens in one day. My 25 messages caused it, but I saw none of it. Every reply looked normal. No warning. No counter. The first sign was the 429. 10/ One more bug. I used OpenAI's free reset to clear the limit early. The bot stayed dead: "Provider authentication failed." Auth was fine. Hermes had saved a note — "quota blocked until 03:00" — and would not retry before that time. It never re-checked. One command, hermes auth reset, fixed it. 11/ Then Fable fixed the system, over SSH: compression now runs at 30% (~82K tokens). The override is off. Self-review runs 5× less often. Sessions cap at 120 messages. A small cron script checks my usage every 30 minutes and pings my Telegram at 50/80/95%. Another one restarts any bot that dies. It tested that by killing the bots and watching them come back. 12/ The lesson that matters: I was on a capped plan, so the spend just hit a wall and stopped. The same setup on a pay-per-token API key would have been hundreds of dollars, spent silently, with nothing looking wrong. If you run agents that hold long conversations: set usage alerts first. Check what your compression settings actually do, not what the defaults say. 13/ @Teknium1 — the self-improvement loop in Hermes is a great idea, and it works; my agent gets better at my workflows every week. Three small changes would make it safe by default: review a compressed transcript instead of the full one, re-check saved 429 state against the usage API, and sync rotated OAuth tokens across profiles. Full post-mortem is written up if useful. P.S. I am not a dev so I am still learning, I will see how I go this time. Thanks for reading.
Proposal to Elon Musk: Enhancing Grok Imagine Agent Mode for Seamless Creative Workflows – UX Feedback & Visionary Feature Suggestions Subject: Grok Imagine Agent Mode Feedback + Genius UX Upgrades to Supercharge Manga/Webtoon Creators, Game Devs & Global Storytellers (English + 한국어 버전) From: A Dedicated SuperGrok User in South Korea Date: July 7, 2026 To: Elon Musk & xAI Team Executive Summary (English) Dear Elon, As a passionate SuperGrok user deeply immersed in AI-assisted historical fantasy game development, webtoon creation, and storytelling, I am blown away by Grok Imagine's Agent Mode (Beta). It is a true game-changer — an autonomous creative canvas that plans, generates, edits, iterates, and analyzes manga panels with uncanny precision for dialogue translation, cut composition, and visual storytelling. However, one small but critical friction point is holding back its full potential: when chatting with the Agent inside a Project, there is no "Copy" button for responses. This forces manual highlighting + copying, which disrupts flow in long, iterative sessions (e.g., refining multi-cut manhwa pages with Japanese dialogue, Korean translations, sound effects, and dynamic action sequences). This proposal provides an extremely detailed analysis of the attached screenshot, a visionary set of feature enhancements, and a creative roadmap to make Grok Imagine the ultimate tool for global creators. Implementing these would amplify user retention, creativity, and position xAI as the leader in AI-native creative production. Detailed Screenshot Analysis The attached image captures a real-world Grok Imagine Project session focused on manga/webtoon translation and refinement: Left Panel (Dark UI - Prompt/Agent Chat): Detailed instructions for analyzing a 4-page manga spread (top-to-bottom, right-to-left reading order). Specific directives for character positions (e.g., top-left fight/kick scene), sound effects (SFX translations like "うるさい! → 시끄러워!", "ドッ → 덜컹!", "去ねぇ! → 가!", etc.), and narrative flow. Reference to a Devilman Lady-style cover for stylistic inspiration. Detailed dialogue breakdowns: pain expressions, emotional beats, and cultural adaptations for onomatopoeia and action tones. Bottom: Input box with a red arrow highlighting the missing copy functionality on the Agent's response area. Right Panels (Manga Examples): Classic black-and-white manga panels showing dramatic confrontations with explosive SFX. Larger panel emphasizing composition for Agent analysis. Text explanations detail accuracy checks for translations, handling cropped images, and full sequence guidelines. This workflow showcases Agent Mode's strength: reference images + prompts → autonomous multi-step analysis (visual parsing → dialogue extraction/translation → SFX localization → iterative refinement). It's ideal for professional-grade webtoon production and game design integration. Pain Point Quantified: In extended refinement sessions, lacking a one-click copy adds unnecessary time and breaks immersion — especially for creators switching between Korean, Japanese, and English. Genius Feature Proposals: "Agent Response Superpowers" Suite To elevate this from excellent to legendary, here are interconnected enhancements — creative, feasible, and aligned with xAI's mission: Universal One-Click Copy & Export (Immediate Win) Prominent 📋 Copy button (plus keyboard shortcut) on every Agent response. Variants: "Copy as Markdown / JSON / Prompt-Ready". Auto-detect structured content (dialogue lists, cut breakdowns) for "Copy Translation Table" or similar. Multi-select for entire threads. Smart Clipboard & Iteration History Persistent project clipboard with versioned responses. "Regenerate from this copy" or "Insert into Canvas". AI-summarized changelog for refinements. Multi-Language & Localization Super Mode Auto-detect locale and prioritize native outputs with seamless code-switching. Specialized optimizers for webtoon flow, emotional intensity, and panel composition. Creative Canvas Integrations (Visionary Leap) Direct export: to game engines (script/character formats), PDF/Webtoon, or animated sequences. Sub-Agent collaboration for specialized tasks (e.g., historical accuracy or action dynamics). Voice readout integration for dialogue testing. Monetization & Community Flywheel Shareable project templates with potential X revenue integration. Usage insights for power users. Why This Matters: These features would transform Grok Imagine into a full AI Co-Creator Studio, empowering solo creators worldwide to produce at unprecedented speed and quality — from historical epics to dynamic action stories. Technical Note: Primarily frontend/UI enhancements with high impact and low lift. Call to Action Elon, your vision for xAI is pushing the boundaries of creativity and discovery. This feedback comes from intensive daily use by a Korean creator. Even the simple Copy button would be transformative; the full suite would be revolutionary. Happy to provide more details or test iterations. Let's make Grok Imagine indispensable for storytellers everywhere! Thank you for building the future. A SuperGrok User in South Korea @elonmusk @grok @XFreeze
