Two people. 12 months. ~200 websites sold. No agency. No design team. No "hey, we build beautiful websites" emails. What they did differently is simple: they never sell a website. They sell a problem the business already has. How it works: → Pull thousands of local businesses from a lead database → Auto-audit every site: speed, mobile layout, SEO gaps, missing pages → Write outreach around that specific site's issues → Build the new site with AI (Claude Code), host it on Cloudflare → Run an SEO blog in the background so clients start coming to them The owner doesn't get "want a redesign?" He gets "your site takes forever to load on a phone, and nobody in your city finds you when they search for what you do." That's a completely different conversation. The uncomfortable part for designers: talent alone doesn't beat a system anymore. An average person with a working pipeline will outship a brilliant designer who spends three weeks polishing one landing page. My takeaway isn't the tools. They'll change in six months. It's the order: diagnose → sell the fix → build. I'm putting together the agent setups and workflows for this. Want me to share them here?
